Heather Child Care Supplies Ltd. was founded in May, 1982 by H. Heather. She was influenced after visiting a trade show on outdoor equipment and toys. Her idea was to manufacture a product that was urgently needed for toddler and preschool use.

With a bolt of material, some thread, and the spirit to change life for herself and her children, she made the first cot sheet for the daycare market. She then did a hand drawn half-page advertisment with "Cot Sheets On Sale" and mailed a modest amount to centres in the area. With 18 years of free delivery in Ontario and part freight outside of Ontario we still maintain our policy of free delivery on all linens. Today, we carry all major brands of child care products, and are currently exploring the North American and global retail market with our Online Store.
